WP Engine: The Best WordPress Hosting on the Market?

  • Jack Jorgensen, CEO Jack Jorgensen, CEO
  • September 29, 2022

WP Engine is a top-notch WordPress hosting company…and quite possibly the best. Disclaimer: I am not paid to write this post…but it is my job to find the best products in the WordPress space.

In a saturated hosting market, WP Engine stands out from the crowd. However, this blog post is about more than just the quality hosting, uptime, site performance and customer service from WP Engine. It’s also about the complete decline of quality in the hosting space…and why we have a phoenix emerging from the ashes.

As a WordPress Management company, we work with a lot of different hosting companies. From A2 Hosting to Host Gator and GoDaddy to SiteGround – we’ve used them. (None of which we particularly care for). We have spent a lot of time pulling accounts from these hosts due to customer email servers going down, SSL’s not working, servers going down – all to wait on hold for a customer service representative that takes 50 minutes to answer the phone and offer nothing but “we are working on the issue.”

Enter: WP Engine. After moving accounts over to WP Engine – we immediately saw results. Performance was much faster. Customer service was responsive and helpful through the migration process. Even the caching was superior. A company focused on WordPress is far better than the swiss army knife of web services.

When companies offer: Unlimited for $9 per month! You can guarantee it is very limited and when you reach your bandwidth – you’re screwed. As the saying goes: You get what you pay for. And if you want your site to be fast – no amount of performance optimization and file size reduction will help if your server is just plain crap.

If your site is struggling on those shared hosting plans at the big companies – consider a switch to WP Engine.

Cheers!

Jack, TenayaWP
